The Back Patio is open Monday through Thursday from 12 PM to 9 PM. Friday and Saturday from 12 PM to 10 PM. Sunday from 12 PM to 9 PM. The Back Patio is open 7 days a week.
The Back Patio — Portland's Secret Garden Eatery — is a taphouse, food cart pod, wine bar, and pinball arcade on NE Cully Blvd in Portland's Cully neighborhood. Take a break, stay awhile. The venue is family-friendly. Games are coin-op: arcade cabinets $0.25 per play, pinball $0.50 to $1.00 per play.

We're at 3944 NE Cully Blvd, right at the Cully & Prescott five-way intersection, two blocks off NE Sandy Blvd and across from the Albertsons shopping center. TriMet line 71 stops steps away. Minutes from Rose City Golf Course, the Roseway Theater, and Fernhill Park — and an easy hop from The Grotto, McMenamins Kennedy School, Beaumont-Wilshire, Concordia, Roseway, and Parkrose. About 15 minutes from PDX airport.

By Car

Free street parking is available on NE Cully Blvd and surrounding residential streets. We also have bike racks on-site.

By Public Transit

TriMet bus line #23 (San Rafael) stops within two blocks, and line #71 (60th Avenue) stops within three blocks. Line #24 on NE Fremont is a five-minute walk.

By Bike

With an 89 Bike Score in this neighborhood, cycling is a great option. Bike racks available on-site.

Accessibility

The Back Patio has a ground-level entrance with no stairs, wheelchair-accessible pathways throughout the venue, and ADA-compliant restrooms. The bar area, dining room, and garden patio are all navigable by wheelchair. Our outdoor seating includes wheelchair-accessible tables. If you need any specific accommodation, please call ahead and we'll make sure you're taken care of.

We also offer lower-volume hours on Sunday afternoons (1:00-4:00 PM) when game volumes are reduced and music is kept at a conversational level. The garden patio also provides a quieter alternative to the indoor space.
